Honestly, most of our riders do not have any idea what really
causes punctured tires. A tiny puncture can lose a tire's pressure that
requires our riders to inflate their tires for their daily use, Another
possible cause will be once the tire was been damaged or hit by a nail
or any sharp object, Last would be, if the tire rims are not properly
aligned, this may cause dislocation for the wheel itself.
The tools needed for scooter tire repair are blunt bar, wrench, tube patch pincers, large file, rubber cement, soapy water and rubbing alcohol. In reality these tools are easy to find, they can be seen easily from your home or nearest tool shop. Most of our riders can say that all these tools are not that needed however riders should have those until they are able to remove or detach the tube or else they won't be able to check the level of punctures acquired by their scooter tires.
Now, for our first step always make sure that you have a spare tire to use, few scooter tires are easily removed so all you have to do is to flip the lever to loosen them then pull the tire up until its freely removed. Also, always remember once you are removing the front wheel make sure you will leave a space for you to set up you tools and also it is needed to provide a piece of any hard object, a wood will be a good example to provide a wider room to remove the tire
Then for the last step, using a wrench, you are required to remove the nuts and make sure that you will keep them as it is that you will need them again. Make sure that these nuts will not have any contact with dirt to avoid difficulty in applying the nuts again.
Once done, it is essential to test the tire if you have properly fixed the tire well otherwise, misalignment will cause the tire to wobble on its axis, resulting in unnecessary tire wire and even in a wheel removal whilst the bike is in motion.
Make sure before you use the tire is you have it tested so you can double check any misalignment to avoid wheel removal or any tire wire wobble that may cause accident for the rider.
